I am Elisabeth Root. A woman in tech, advisor and coach, teacher, lifelong student, type-A achiever, intuitive creator and lover of naps in the sun. It all belongs.

Before founding ERA I led a thriving career in tech go to market and along the way came to believe that revenue success rests on a leader’s ability to attune to all parts of themselves, even those that don’t feel like they belong, so that they can attune to the massive matrix of personalities at play in any fast paced tech sales ecosystem. I’ve been part of organizations led by inspiring leaders who create cultures of connection, curiosity and wins and of those led by the old guard IT bosses who create on fear driven, trauma response cultures that eventually push high performers out.

ERA was founded by Elisabeth Root after close to two decades in Go to Market roles (product, marketing, partnerships, sales) exposed a fundamental insight: Emerging and scale-up businesses fail to thrive during times of market transformation when they abandon their values and differentiators out of fear of being left behind. Those who pull ahead are those who are crystal clear about their core offering. 

From 2012 to 2023, Elisabeth was a founding member of several partnership orgs at both AWS and Google Cloud, managing key emerging partnerships and global partnership programs. She routinely peered with the C-suite at partnership organizations, giving her a firsthand understanding of the internal dynamics behind a partner's success - or lack of it. Unlike typical partnership leaders who optimize for narrow metrics, Elisabeth assessed revenue potential from across the entire GTM spectrum - from product development to customer success and everything in between - and saw alignment as the ultimate revenue growth lever as long as it’s balanced by inner and outer conditions of the moment. This goes for companies as much as execs.

Since 2023, she's coached executives from some of the world's most innovative companies - including Databricks, Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA and a slew of startups - to drive change and accelerate growth by blending strategic market insight with inner and outer alignment and subsequent strategies.
