Liminal Space started as an experiment.

Elisabeth Root and Jon Guidroz long time friends and former colleagues wondered what could happen if tech people would openly talk about what it’s like to work in tech right now.

Would people show up authentically?

Could collaborative energy become the inspiration for an energetic shift in careers, teams and even companies?

5 cohorts and 50+ leaders later? The answer is clearly yes.

Applications now open for #6.

Dates: July 9, August 13, September 17. 3pm pst

This is a freemium model that holds the mission of helping people in tech find other people in tech who want to change the energy of tech work.

awakening together

In 3 calls over 3 months, an intentionally small group of tech leaders comes together to pause, ground and realign with others who are navigating the energy of work-related transformation.

We begin with an easy guided meditation and move into a lightly structured conversation to explore individual catalysts and new ways to create or harness experimental energy. Participants end the series with a refreshing clarity, a sense of belonging and an expanded collaborative network.

Liminal Space is defined as the space between what was and what will be. The ambiguity can be nerve wracking, especially when it taps into sense of security and belonging. It can also be illuminating as new possibilities emerge.

This space is increasingly common in environments of rapid transformation, like tech. ERA is on a mission to show tech leaders that you are not alone in it.

So we created Liminal Space, a supportive community for curious tech leaders to become well versed in the somatic and mindfulness pillars that support the open mindsets that lead to evolving and high definition careers.

Applications windows open about six weeks prior to each cohort and reviewed on a first come first serve bases.

The pause between what was and what will be, where we transform the energy of tech work.

  • Catalyst - What were the experiences that created the vision of new possibilities? What were the signals?

  • Experimentation - How do we support one another to create space for curiosity? How do we give ourselves permission to act?

  • Clarity -  How open are we to allow change without judgment? What are the practices that will keep us open?

Elisabeth helped me take a step back, be more conscious about my work, and ensure that it aligns with my values and principals.

Cohort #4

It was during these conversations that I had a profound realization. It's not just us, but many tech leaders are striving for a more meaningful and balanced life, trying to align their personal purpose with their professional roles, and drive change, all while navigating the standard pressures and societal 'norms'.

Cohort #1

I just attended the Q4 cohort and it was SUCH VALUABLE TIME SPENT.

This is a great community with thought-provoking conversation that encourages you to step just outside of your day-to-day and look within. If you are a tech exec wanting to integrate more mindfulness into the course of doing business, this is the group for you. Enjoy 💗
