My Story:

I left my career in big tech when nobody thought I should. I was leading a global business for the Google Cloud Marketplace after having stumbled into tech via Amazon 12 years earlier. But as big tech shifted from high innovation to the language of battlefields, it became clear that it was time to re-engage with my light in a new way.

The light I’m talking about is the unique energy, super powers, special sauce (or whatever you like to call it) that fuels a person’s work in a way that generates new energy in return. Not just the metrics we meet, but the unique way we drive them. My college Literary Theory professor helped me see that my light is the ability to translate complex yet ambiguous concepts into high value narratives. That awareness ignited all kinds of career moves that didn’t make sense at the time, yet shaped a robust career in Go to Market strategy. From my first job out of college at the largest privately held global PR firm during the dot com boom (and bust) to real estate sales to my entrance into tech sales via Tableau and then into partnerships via AWS in the early days of Cloud and finally into partner and program leadership at Google Cloud into the early days of AI.

There is a certain amount of inner chaos that walks us to the edge of our abilities and convinces us we’ll okay even if we fall. I’ve felt it many times throughout my career and now consider that moment the necessary rupture that, when harnessed alongside awareness of our gift, becomes the catalyst that propels us into our most expansive era yet.

Today I have the unique privilege to leverage my decades in Go to Market strategy alongside certifications in Integral Coaching (New Ventures West) and in various Contemplative Arts (yoga, mindfulness, etc) to help tech leaders uncover their highest differentiators and create a new leadership narrative to take to market, as a leader or a founder.

I live in my hometown of Seattle with my daughters, dogs and partner who help me see myself in ways I might otherwise overlook.
